As a professional tennis coach with over thirty years experience, I spent an hour a week ink marking my tennis balls. I would write my initials on every ball, and later re-write my initials. Even though it wasn’t the most exciting time of my week, I knew the cost of losing expensive tennis balls so I did what I needed to do.
I calculated that the hour a week I spent has cost me over 1,500 hours, which is equivalent to 62 whole days – that’s time I could have been earning income from coaching, or better yet, giving free lessons to those who have not had the opportunity of playing tennis.
While marking my tennis balls, I dreamed of a better way…
